Makena Hotel is an small luxury adult?only retreat of just thirteen suites, a short stroll to the Icaraizinho beach, famous for Windsurfing, Kitesurfing and Wingfoiling. There is a Windsurf and Wingfoil school a 10 minute stroll up the beach, or you can launch straight from the beach close to the property.
The food at Makena Hotel is a key part of the experience and is known for its quality, freshness, and creativity. The hotel has its own restaurant and bar called NUI, which is open daily and offers a relaxed but refined setting that reflects the peaceful coastal surroundings.
Breakfast is served Ă la carte rather than buffet style, with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. You can expect tropical fruits, freshly baked breads, homemade cakes, tapioca pancakes, eggs made to order, local cheeses, and fresh juices. There are four suite types.
- The SuĂte Mana measures 60?m², has one king bed, and sleeps up to three guests.
- SuĂte Joy and SuĂte Kai are both 70?m² with king beds, each also sleeping a maximum of three and featuring a private plunge pool.
- SuĂte Makena at 112?m², fitted with two king beds, two bathrooms, a private plunge pool, and likewise accommodates up to three guests
Guests can unwind by the outdoor plunge?pool, roam the rooftop terrace, and enjoy the private beach area with umbrellas, loungers and sea?views. The on?site NUI restaurant and bar serve Brazilian?style cuisine from a modern setting, offering a continental breakfast, plus lunch and dinner.
