WINDFOIL COACHING IN SPAIN

Golf de Roses is very excited to host the second Windfoil Coaching Event, supported by World Cup competitor William Huppert from France (FRA 330 – Lokefoil, Fanatic, North Sails), one of the most experienced windsurf foil riders in Europe.
 
The time to learn is now! The windsurfing spot in Golf de Roses is ideal for learning to windfoil with a very constant thermal wind providing the right amount of wind to take off. Additionally, the centre stocks the new Fanatic Gecko Foil Edition Boards in the sizes 120 and 133 litres. On top of that, they use Lokefoil fins and will soon add brand-new Fanatic Foils to the boards.

    Bungalow Park La Ballena Alegre is situated in the south of the Bay of Roses between the village Sant Pere Pescador and Sant Marti d'Empuries. More than 300 bungalows and plots along 2 kilometers beach are waiting for you. Ronan Kersaudy, director at ION CLUB Golf de Roses, has been passionate about windfoiling since the early start of the discipline, five years ago. Recently he started teaching this sport to his students in his windsurfing school in Costa Brava, Spain. This summer saw an increasing demand in lessons. With most windsurfing brands such as Fanatic now producing specific windfoil boards and foil fins, and windfoiling becoming a PWA World Cup Events discipline from next year onwards, windfoiling is clearly conquering its place amongst the water sports.
 
During your week in Costa Brava, Spain, you will enjoy seven nights in a bungalow at the Camping and Bungalow Park La Ballena Alegre including full board at Bar-Restaurant Oasis, next door to ION CLUB. Full board includes a breakfast buffet, lunch and a dinner menu including drinks. One dinner will take place in a local restaurant in town. The windfoil coaching will take place over six days on the 2018 Gecko Foil Edition 120 and 133 liters (2-3 hours per day in a group) and windsurf and stand up paddle rental of the Fanatic and North Sails 2017 boards is included. 
 
During the first three days the ION CLUB instructors will introduce you to windfoiling, followed by three days of advanced coaching by William Huppert. To help you progress faster video teaching and radio - BB Talkin helmets will be used.
 
Also included is a 30 minutes entrance to SPA Oxygen at Camping la Ballena Alegre to wind down after an exciting day on the water. A welcome drink on the first night and an aperitif on the last evening make this event complete. Apart from memories of a splendid week of windfoiling, you will also leave with the official event rash vest and your windfoiling diploma.
